Metabolism, Endocrinology & Diabetes (MEND)

Overview

The Michigan Genomics Initiative - MEND (Metabolism, Endocrinology & Diabetes) is a specialized research effort dedicated to understanding the genetic factors influencing metabolic, endocrine, and diabetes-related conditions. The goal is to identify genetic variations that contribute to the development and progression of metabolic and endocrine disorders, including diabetes.  By doing so, MGI-MEND aims to advance personalized treatment strategies and preventive measures, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
